I went with seven of my family members on a recent garden tour in Ladysmith and we had ourselves a blast riding in the van together. We hope to have many adventures seeing the countryside and visiting family and friends!

"I am so impressed"

The purchase of my new Dodge Caravan at Bow-Mel was stress-free thanks to Allan. I am a busy working mother of three from Victoria so completed the bulk of my purchase by email, basically buying the vehicle sight unseen.  When I made the trip to Duncan and met with Allan I was so pleased at how friendly and relaxed he was, not seeming rushed at all and answering all of my (and my mother's) questions, no matter how trivial.  It was a positive experience and I would definitely recommend Bow-Mel.

Hi Al,
As someone who spent over 50 years in the business world, I was most impressed with all I saw at Bow-Mel. Over the years I taught Dale Carnegie courses and worked in Sales and Marketing before opening my consulting company in those fields. What I saw at Bow-Mel was an example of that which we all preached but seldom realised...a great team spirit, a friendly and efficient staff and people who go that extra mile.
I love the way my dog was welcomed too.
Congratulations are in order from the very top all the way through the organisation. Congratulations also to all who work there for having found such a place to spend your working hours.
Without a doubt I shall spread the word to all I can and I look forward to visits with you and the crew as time goes on.

Hi Allan. I feel I must share my thoughts. My experience from the moment I stepped onto your lot, to the moment we left driving our new 2012 1500 Dodge truck was remarkable. We were treated with respect and our questions were addressed promptly and professionally. I never felt sales pressure at any time right up until the deal was made.  With a few extra things to do such as undercoating, the truck was ready within days. Following the final "going over" of all the features, which was a nice addition, I was really impressed as I drove away to find that there was a full tank of gas in my freshly polished truck (thanks!).  I have to say, it does look sharp!!  Thank you to Scott, who first greeted me on the lot, Allan our main sales guy, Tom who was the expert on explaining all of the features, and Craig who finalized things!   As well, the reception ladies were very friendly and helpful on the phone. What a great team! I will definitely recommend Bow- Mel to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Pamela and I would like to extend our thanks to you and your colleagues at Bow-Mel for the help we received in purchasing our new (to us) 2011 Ford F350 Crew Cab Lariat diesel 4x4.  

We were very pleased with the service at the dealership, especially when we came to collect the truck. We were given some good instruction by Chris, service advisor, on the fundamentals of some of the vehicle's complex high-tech features and encouraged to consult him further if necessary.  This makes a nice change from the "Thanks, here's the keys ? See Ya" attitude apparent at some of the other dealers in the area. Also, it's good to know that your have experts on vehicles from other manufactures too, apart from Chrysler. 

 

The finishing touch..... a full tank of diesel!  Nice one, especially at $1.40 per litre!

 

We will certainly not hesitate in recommending you and your dealership as our #1 automotive destination.

I am from Alberta and came to the island to visit my daughter in Shawnigan Lake. My truck was giving me issues so I stopped in at Bow- Mel in Duncan thinking that I would be without my truck for I don't know how long. I stopped in at around 8:00 am and was given a ride to my daughter's house in Shawnigan Lake. Once my truck was fixed they also came and got me as well and drove me right back to the dealership. I had my truck back by noon. I was extremely impressed with the service I received and wanted to ensure that I let all involved know how happy I was with the service.

The 2007 Ram you recommended to me was by far the lowest kilometer and cleanest used truck we found in several days of looking on Vancouver Island car sales lots.

"It's the only place to deal with"

Hello Gerry. I feel that I must let it be known how refreshing my experience with you has been.
I was very impressed with the way I was treated at Bowmel Chrysler in Duncan. Comparing it to the way I was treated at three other car dealers in Duncan here are the points:

1. I was treated with respect as a person and as a woman who knew about cars.

2. No one tried to talk me into buying a new car. I wanted a used car and they went with that.

3. I still got deferral treatment. At other dealers interest fell off right away when they knew I was only interested in used.

4. I was listened to.

5. All employees I dealt with at Bowmel were very personable. Never once was there a feeling of being brushed off or not important.

6. No hard sell. I did have one deadline with them on a deal which I did not meet. They still dealt with me two days later and we were able to come to a good deal.

7. I found their used vehicle quality there top notch as well.

 

I highly recommend them whether used or new.  They are trustworthy.

"Well now that was easy"

Hi there. When we needed a new car, my wife and I were not looking forward to the process with our two kids in tow etc. John Barger went above and beyond helping us with the entire vehicle transition process. We were focused on high value as most consumers are these days-which  the Jeep provides and dealing with John was the icing on the cake, facilitating the purchase in advance mostly over the phone. When we actually walked into the dealership, in just over a few hours we drove the Jeep away. Thanks to John and the dealership staff, we fit our vehicle purchasing into our busy schedule and they were more than willing to help along the way.

Gerry, I have to say that looking for a used car was something I was not looking forward to. Starting off, I was not having good luck finding the right one and encountered the pressure to buy overwhelming, until I came to Bow Mel Chrysler. I honestly can say there was no pressure and I was so relaxed throughout the whole process and didn't have the feeling of making the wrong choice. It was very easy; it was like I not only found the right car but also the right person in Gerry to sell it to me. He worked with me or rather, for me, to get the right car and the price that I was comfortable with and within my budget.
